I submitted footage to Youtube’s Life in a Day Contest last summer. We were to videotape our lives on the day of July 24, 2010 and then we had some time to edit until we reached our final project. Here’s my footage that I submitted (sans the music or I would’ve been disqualified). But I think it is better with the music.
Did any of you submit anything to this challenge? I just got an email stating:
“We received a staggering 80,000 clips of film from all around the world for potential inclusion in the film – about 4,500 hours. With so much wonderful footage available to us choosing what to include in the film was extremely difficult.“
Wow, that is a lot of film. I knew that I wasn’t chosen because my friend messaged me last week and told me that they were announcing the video soon. Also, one of the prizes was to visit the Sundance Film Festival on January 23, 2011. And since I wasn’t present…
Haha. The live stream of the world premiere took place on the Life in a Day channel (www.youtube.com/lifeinaday) last night, Thursday 27th January at 8pm EST. The movie is an hour and a half…make sure you have time to watch it!
