This post commences week 2 of my Closet Essentials series. You can find the first week’s post about the Little Black Dress here.
Today we talk about Jeans.
And not just any jeans – GREAT FITTING JEANS. Jeans can either make or break any outfit. Jeans can be worn for running errands, at the park, in the office, and going out with friends. Jeans are one of the most versatile pieces of any closet and a major staple for any outfit.
The key to finding a great pair of jeans is to find the right fit that flatters your shape and makes you feel good. Don’t be afraid to go up a size because every brand’s sizing is different.
Jeans can be altered too. If your pair is too loose in the thighs – have them taken in. If you don’t like the flare on your pair – have them taken in. If your pair is too long – get them hemmed. Get the point? Good.
Remember: Once you find a great pair of jeans, buy two! One for heels and one for flats!
